Unreconstituted peptides should be stored at 2-8°C (refrigerator). Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store refrigerated and use within 4-6 weeks. Avoid freezing reconstituted peptides.
Add diluent (typically bacteriostatic water) slowly down the side of the vial - do not spray directly onto the lyophilised powder. Gently swirl (don't shake) until fully dissolved. Our Reconstitution Volume Calculator will return the resulting mg/ml concentration for laboratory reference.
Vials contain lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide powder that must be reconstituted with a suitable diluent (typically bacteriostatic water) before laboratory use. Pens are supplied pre-reconstituted and ready to use in the lab - in reusable or disposable cartridge formats. Pens are more convenient but cost more per unit.
